What happened if Max saved Chloe?

A review of Titan Comics’ Life is Strange series

Life is Strange (2015) is about Max Caulfield returning to her home town of Arcadia Bay while reconnecting with her long-time best friend, Chloe Price. Max has mysteriously attained new rewind powers that allows her to get whatever result she desires in a given situation. In the ending of Life is Strange (2015), the effects of the rewind power finally come to fruition and the player is left with a choice. You can either sacrifice Arcadia Bay to save Chloe or sacrifice Chloe to save Arcadia Bay. Saving Arcadia Bay does seem like the more logical choice but many players did save Chloe . Originally a four issue mini series, Life is Strange: Dust takes place after the ending where you sacrifice Arcadia Bay and save Chloe. From a storytelling perspective, making a comic book series after the saving Chloe ending makes more sense. It has a lot more potential than the saving Arcadia Bay ending. Fans of the series love these two characters and being able to explore them further in a comic book series sounds really good. The series later on became an ongoing series with 12 issues so far with more coming later this fall.
