Was Marvel’s Wolverine Announced Too Early?

The project was announced in 2021, more than three years ago.

Another PlayStation State of Play has come and gone with no details regarding Marvel’s Wolverine. While we wait for Insomniac Games to reveal more details, there’s been buzz going around online surrounding the project.

It’s not about an early build of the game leaking online but rather, the project being announced at all.

In case you don’t remember, Insomniac Games unveiled Marvel’s Wolverine alongside Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 during the PlayStation Showcase in September 2021. This presentation also saw the announcement of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake and several other projects that have now released.

It’s now 2025, over three years since the presentation and not a peep about gameplay, story, or anything else regarding the project officially.
