The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog Review
The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog shadow dropped early this year to coincide with April Fools. It’s a free to play visual novel on Steam that features the cast of Sonic characters trying to figure out who murdered Sonic the Hedgehog? It’s all part of Amy’s Birthday celebration where Sonic and friends are playing a murder mystery game on a train called Mirage Express. You play as a Quokka character within the Sonic universe, feel free to name them after yourself or whatever you want.
You just started working on the Mirage Express and your first day on the job is to make Amy’s Birthday a success (no pressure). As you enter each area, you’re encouraged to click around to interact with everything and everyone on screen. Once the party starts, you’ll be working with Tails and Amy to solve the murder of Sonic the Hedgehog. The story is pretty fun. The last act ends in typical Sonic the Hedgehog fashion and you do find out who “murdered” Sonic.
