Life is Strange: Double Exposure Review (PS5)
Deck Nine brings back Max Caulfield for another supernatural adventure. However, fans are calling this the worst Life is Strange game yet.
I have been a longtime fan of the Life is Strange universe. From the games to the comic books, I love nearly everything about this franchise. When it was announced during the Xbox Games Showcase that a new Life is Strange would release in October starring Max Caulfield, I was immediately interested.
As the first main protagonist in the series, fans were eager to see what Max has been up to and how the events of the first game connect to Double Exposure.
While the game retreads old territory like having Max’s best friend murdered, the new setting of Caledon University brings a lively cast of characters that you’ll want to explore. In addition, the power of timeline hopping makes for some interesting character interactions and puzzles.
However, many fans are not happy with how Deck Nine handled this one. Because the team wanted to showcase both endings, Save Arcadia Bay or Save Chloe, it was an impossible task without making two completely different games.
